Our purpose-built mastering studio provides an accurate, controlled listening environment where we can make confident decisions about your music.
Careful acoustic treatment, detailed monitoring and a combination of high-quality analogue and digital equipment allow us to hear what a mix really needs — and just as importantly, what it doesn’t.
Every mastering chain is built around the music. We choose the processing and signal path to suit each project rather than applying the same approach to every master.
Mastering is the final stage of audio production, where a finished mix is carefully prepared for release. We assess areas such as tonal balance, dynamics, stereo image and overall level, making adjustments where needed so your music translates reliably across different playback systems.
Every track is treated individually, with the aim of enhancing the mix while preserving its character and the decisions you made during mixing.
Most masters are completed within a few days to a week of ordering. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process and let you know when your masters are ready to download.
If you’re happy with your mixes, send them to us and we’ll take care of the rest. If you’re unsure whether a mix is ready for mastering, let us know. We’ll evaluate it and provide feedback if we think any changes would benefit the final master.
Always send your mixes as high-resolution files such as WAV or AIFF, rather than compressed formats such as MP3.
Your mastered tracks will be supplied as high-quality 24-bit WAV files, ready for digital distribution and streaming. If you’re releasing on vinyl or need files in a different format, let us know and we can provide masters prepared for your specific requirements.
AI mastering can be a useful automated option, but it can’t make the same considered decisions as an experienced mastering engineer. We listen to your music, assess what it actually needs and tailor the mastering accordingly, using analogue and digital processing where appropriate. You can also discuss your music directly with us and request revisions if needed.
