We carefully selected professional-grade pieces of analogue equipment to hand-craft your masters, along with detailed monitoring and an acoustically treated studio, to provide the ideal environment for critical listening.
We use a professional-grade analogue patch-bay to provide a completely flexible approach to the order of equipment in the mastering chain. EQ before compression or compression before EQ? It all depends on what is best for your music!
We also employ some digital processing, usually to deal with small details to prepare for running audio through our analogue mastering chain. This is what most mastering engineers will do unless your mix only needs broad strokes.
These minor details may, for example, include some dynamic EQ or compression for a relatively narrow range of frequencies or limiting to deal with prominent transients (e.g., kick or snare) that are too loud.
Mastering is the final step in production before your “radio-ready” music is submitted for distribution streaming and/or a physical release such as vinyl.
The role of a mastering engineer is to give your music the final polish to make it sparkle and shine.

If you are happy with your mixes then send them to us and we will do the rest. If you are unsure whether your mix is ready for mastering then let us know and we will evaluate it and provide feedback if necessary.
Your mastered tracks will be high quality 24-bit WAV files (sometimes referred to as hi-res on streaming platforms and by audiophiles) ready for streaming and vinyl pressing.
AI is changing the world but not always providing the best results. AI is clever but it isn’t a substitute for analogue mastering with the human touch of a professional mastering engineer.
